It's been a busy summer at Pepper with many of app launches, integrations and more! Here are a few highlights to remind you of what we've been up to.. ✨

Tortilla Mexican Grill’s “Burrito Society” Loyalty App Takes Off 🌯

One of the highlights of summer was the successful launch of Tortilla Mexican Grill plc’s “Burrito Society” Loyalty and Order Ahead app. With over 80 locations across the UK, the app has been a massive hit, and HOLY GUAC—customers are loving it!

Tortilla’s tiered Loyalty Stamp Card allows members to earn rewards as they order more delicious meals:

  • Collect stamps (2 Stamps = Free Guac Topping, 5 stamps = Free Main)
  • Unlock rewards
  • Get surprise perks
  • Beat the queue
  • Locate your nearest Tortilla
  • Refer a friend to earn a stamp, and spread some burrito love!


The excitement and positive feedback have been pouring in. Tortilla’s Marketing Director, Sarah Colombo, shared her thoughts on the app’s success:

Belushi’s Bars: Breaking New Ground in International Pub Loyalty 🍻

Belushi’s Bars launched the first-ever international pub/sports bar Loyalty and Order & Pay app. Covering 12 cities across 8 different countries, this app is fully integrated with Belushi’s Zonal POS, making it easier than ever for customers to collect and redeem loyalty points. Whether ordering via the app or scanning at the bar, Belushi’s customers can enjoy a seamless experience.

Thunderbird Fried Chicken: Elevating the Loyalty Experience 🍗

Thunderbird Fried Chicken's App also went live! The team wanted to digitalise their loyalty offering, and elevate the customer experience 'at POS' and via their kiosks. Their App is fully integrated cross-channel to allow effortless loyalty earning and burning at every touchpoint in store. Kiosks are becoming more common in Quick Service Restaurants, streamlining operations by reducing queues and increasing revenue during peak times. Thanks to our seamless integration with WRS Systems customers can effortlessly use the app to earn and redeem loyalty rewards when placing orders via a kiosk.

BrewDog Waterloo: Streamlining Operations with Quickpad 🍺

The launch of Quickpad at BrewDog Waterloo has been another massive win. Just in time for the Euros, Pepper’s handheld device has has had a real impact on driving more revenue via table service and generally improving operational efficiency at the largest bar in the UK. Not only has Quickpad made life easier for staff, but they have also seen an increase in tips via TiPJAR®.

Rob Woolford, Head Of Systems at BrewDog, shared how Quickpad has transformed their operations:

"Since launching Quickpad with Pepper, Google reviews have improved from an average 3*/4* to 4.5*, and table touches have increased from 7.5 to 9 per table, per hour. Quickpad has without doubt, improved operational efficiency, and made our staff’s lives a whole lot easier.”

Titanic Brewery: A Smooth Transition to Digital Loyalty 🚢

Titanic Brewery launched their new app, making a seamless transition from their previous loyalty program. The integration with Pepper has brought both accessibility and innovation to their customer loyalty efforts. David Glenwright, Head of Marketing, praised the collaboration:

The team at Pepper have done a superb job in helping us to create a loyalty solution that is both accessible and innovative. From early design to post-launch support, Pepper have worked closely with us to understand our specific requirements and incorporate them into the app. Feedback from both customers and front line staff has been incredibly positive, and we can’t wait to see how this app will allow us to better understand and interact with our customers in the future."

Pepper’s Development Team: The Power Behind the Progress 🧑💻

None of these incredible launches would have been possible without the work of Pepper’s development team. They’ve been busy supporting the rollout of these apps and integrating new POS partners such as MCR Systems Ltd, WRS Systems, and Kurve. Additionally, TiPJAR® integration now allows tips to go directly to staff via Quickpad and Pepper’s Order & Pay journeys.
